In TEMPTATION 101, the teacher, Instructor Snark, demonstrates to the students how to use the seven capital sins to capture the soul of a seminarian chosen particularly to serve as a sample for the class. The seminarian, however, threatens not to be an easy target by calling on the intercession of the Blessed Mother.
Similar to C.S. Lewis' work, the play offers insight into the spiritual battle, highlighting the attack of temptations and the efficacy of prayer. Theatre is a powerful vehicle to encounter such realities in a truly human fashion as the audience comes face to face with the actors.
